In December 2006, a unified partnership of prominent hospitality technology, telephony & cabling infrastructure suppliers to the global hospitality sector was formed.
The aim of the partnership was to integrate a number of key hospitality technologies within one single solution; a solution capable of operating on a fully digital, converged IP platform.
In February 2007 a Converged Showcase Event was held to demonstrate the benefits the solution partnership could bring. A number of global Hoteliers were invited to the ETV office where features on display included:
Digital TV, Radio & Music; Video & Music content; Video-on-Demand; Internet & Email on TV; EPOS & PMS Integration; IP Telephony (VoIP); Call Logging; HSIA (including WIFI) and common infrastructure - all within one easily managed and integrated package.
